We have tried pinging Audible website using our server and the website returned the above results. If is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Browser Related Problems

Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Fix DNS Problems

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address (192.168.x.x) to be identified with words (*.com) in order to be remembered more easily, like a phonebook for websites. This service is usually provided by your ISP.

Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter). For details choose your operating system :

If you can access a website at office or from a 3G network yet it's not working on your computer, it is a good idea to use an alternative DNS service other than your ISPs. OpenDNS or Google Public DNS are both excellent and free public DNS services.

I cannot connect to Audible. I was in the middle of a book and wanted to listen again to a part. I pressed the 30 second rewind and now I can't listen to the rest of my book. Can this be fixed?

can't get to audible here either. tried chrome, firefox, safari. tried updating flash because it blocked a plugin. iPhone app seems to still work, but not sure if it caches.

Yesterday the telephone tech support rep said that there was an issue with the iOS Audible App. Since it is still not resolved it looks like it mght take some time to fix. . . .

Ok... I've had - and used - Audible for > 15 years. Never had an issue until the last 24 hours when the App froze time and time again. The only workaround on my iPhone was to access library through Safari using the 'Access Full Site,' feature, then play. After further research, however, I found that deleting the app from my iPhone, then requesting the most current app directly from Audible at the following link: COMPLETELY corrected the issue on my iPhone. Hope this works for others too!

I talked to support last night, after encountering this outage for IOS devices since 11:00 PST yesterday. They gave me a rough ETA of 3 hours to resolve this. No-go, it's still down as of about 1/2 hour ago. Let's make some noise on Twitter and Facebook, Google+, and wherever, until they put more resources on this!

Audible down for iOS devices since last night. There were no software updates on my devices from Audible or Apple. This is not acceptable. This better be hacking or "Act of God". Otherwise, either Apple or Audible is going to lose my business.

Won't work at all on iPhone 6 or 6 plus. No other way to reach the scores of books I have purchased. Many hundreds of dollars worth of content is now worthless to me. That's a lot worse than "just inconvenienced for shopping."
