Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Fix DNS Problems

yes Aimoo is down again right now but the time in my Group before it went down is posting 13 hours ahead of the correct time in the UK. I have asked babs in fb Aimoo help and she said Christine would look into it. That was weeks ago yet the time remains wrong so when will someone actually do something rather than fob us off with promises to correct it??

Don - https://www.facebook.com/groups/aimoo is for the convenience of Aimoo members to let them know what is going on. You do not need to post or be friends with anyone. You can just read. That is the only way Aimoo can let members know when their site is down.
The reason it is down now is because they are replacing the Server which is a big job as they need to transfer all the data from the old to the new.
I do not normally post in here but Andre posted the link in Facebook.
When Aimoo is back online, you will see that there is a Facebook icon upper right of most pages. That icon is a link to the Aimoo page in Facebook. You would be better informed there than you would here on this site.

I had the same issue, Elizabeth. It started during the big week of Aimoo being down. For my work computer I had to contact a network administrator to ask him to enter the site as safe. Your solution will depend on your anti-virus program, but you should be able to go in yourself on a home system to list aimoo as a trusted site.

As well as this: we all have members in our forums that we can't contact -- I made a FB group for my forum to keep them updated on what might be going on in the event Aimoo goes down.

GoDaddy is the domain host for Aimoo. Your forums are fine, it's not for sale. Some people are getting that it's for sale, others are saying that they're able to see the forum. They're just having issues with the domain right now. No big deal.

I can confirm that the servers are indeed up and running and conducting business as usual. Unless you know exactly what you are doing you won't be able to navigate any forums though.
